Marie Magdalene "Marlene" Dietrich[4] (, German:[maʁˈleːnəˈdiːtʁɪç]ⓘ; 27 December 1901 – 6 May 1992)[5] was a German-born American actress and singer whose career spanned nearly seven decades.[6]
